getting started on the nursery

thanks to this idea by my very creative sister-in-law laura, i created my first look book. for baby girl, or sweet pea as i have taken to calling her, and her nursery. i've been collecting all sorts of pictures, magazine clippings and paint samples for a while now - even before we found out we were having a girl - and didn't really have any way that i was organizing it. the look book was the perfect way to keep track of everything. for this one, i used a plain 11x14 sketch book purchased from hobby lobby. i even bought a few extras because i know this is something that will come in handy for other projects!
i have so many ideas for her nursery and i am getting very excited about putting it together. we'll be using the same basic furniture (crib, changing table, glider and bookcase) that we used for both miles and ethan, but i decided i needed to do new bedding and have a girly nursery since we've had a gender neutral one all this time. i've actually bought her bedding (it was a very hard decision), but that is all that has been picked out. i have been scouring etsy for great prints and other ideas to incorporate into her room.
now if it would only quit raining and snowing so we could get started on the new house...
