sisters!

i am so thankful to my sister (and her two adorable girls!) for coming out to keep us company earlier this month when lance was on a two-week trip. we don't get nearly the sister time that i would like since she lives a plane ride away. and with kids it is not the easiest thing to get on an airplane whenever we want.

we had the best time just hanging out with the kids and each other. i needed that. i had just finished a big project at work and needed some time to relax. and even though it was crazy in a house with five kids five and under and only two adults, it was a lot easier to manage when you had someone else there to help.

i think we watched a movie every night, oh and some project runway! perfect. we ate cereal and yogurt for dinner. we stayed in our jammies until noon...and later! we dealt with each others whiney kids...it is always easier to deal with a whiney kid who isn't yours. you seem to have A LOT more sympathy. she helped me make it through the preps for miles' party...even when i got crazy towards the end.

we are already planning our sister trip for next year. we just have to make sure lance goes on a long enough trip :)
