with the first day of school coming this week and a taste of cooler weather last weekend, i am already to bring on fall!

in honor of a girls trip this weekend to napa valley, california, these are the things i have been looking at this past week.  will be a wonderful weekend spent with great friends.  cannot wait!

we will be going here our first day.  i will definitely be sampling the chocolate torte with salted caramel and hazelnut.  sounds divine.  the rest of our time will be spent in napa.  the rest 

on fashion related notes.  bows must be very popular right now.  i love bows.  this t-shirt looks especially fun!  reminds me of this one that taylor swift wore a few years ago, which i loved also.  paired with a black or grey blazer could be work appropriate and with skinny jeans and bright heels could be great for a night out.

this stella & dot necklace just may be a fall purchase.  i love that you could wear it easily with crewneck sweaters and other cool weather attire.

what has caught my eye this past week:

oh my.  these look just like the current/elliot printed jeans from last season.  mollie will have a pair.


i love raglan tees.  they are comfy and loose, but i've never really dressed mine up.  i love the idea of dressing one up a bit with a skirt or heels.

i love this running tank.  it is light as air and so easy to run in.  the length is great too with a pair of leggings.

it is no secret that i love j.crew.  i like this shirt as a good transition piece.  i'll wear it with bermudas & wedges or with a pencil skirt for late summer and early fall.  into fall and winter, i can see it layering very easily under a sweater or with a wool blazer, skinny jeans and tall boots.  i also like the idea of roughing it up a bit and pairing with some skinny cargo pants.  the solid option of this shirt is pretty as well, but i think the polka dots are fun!

this would be so much fun if i ever decide to do christmas cards again!  or possibly for a birthday party or baby shower.
