soccer!
okay, preschool soccer might just be one of the cutest things in the world to watch!
i'm officially a soccer mom :) ethan had his first game and practice last night. of course, we were the last to get there (work always getting in the way) and ethan was the only one who didn't even look like he was ready to play soccer. all the other kids had on their appropriate shorts and shoes. there is my kid in jeans and light-up sneakers. plus since we were the last to arrive, they had already given out all the shirts since an extra joined the team last minute. but on the bight side, it was super easy to keep track of ethan in the pack of kids following the ball.
i am so proud of ethan. it was loud in the auditorium with whistles, kids screaming, etc and he did great! he followed directions perfectly and even volunteered to be goalie! i have no idea where he gets his outgoing side from. he saved most of the goals, but then he just decided looking at the soccer net was much more exciting in the end. he was excited to get out there and run after the ball and kick too.

I told Uncle Ben that not even a kitten rodeo could be cuter than watching 4 year olds play soccer. Thank you soooooooooooo much for inviting me!! It was EXACTLY a dose of what I needed. Ben said if they sell Team Hornet t-shirts for grown ups we would LOVE to buy them!!
Go TEAM HORNETS!! (Even when he was just standing with his hands in his pockets, he was cuter than any kid out there!)

What great photos! Indoor soccer - such a unique concept to me. I bet he has a blast running around. We start our 3rd season with Sean next month and it is so fun to watch them progress over the season.
That has to be the most adorable goalie ever!
