52 weeks of photos

well we are on week 6 already!  tuesday has become the unofficial day to take our photos because i am pretty much always home on tuesdays with the kids and it is the beginning of the week.  this means i am not as frazzled as i would be later in the week and we have all day long to pick when to take our picture.  i love having that freedom...rushing a photo with kids never seems to work out well for anyone involved.

i am really enjoying this project (thanks again, staci!!) and it is one of the first projects that i've decided to do that i can actually see myself finishing.  i am the queen of unfinished projects as my craft closet can attest.  and i love that it will be easy to make this project into a keepsake book at the end of the year.  my sister-in-law laura wrote about documenting memories with kids and while i haven't used any one particular way in the past, this seems like an easy, attainable way for me to at least get one photo book out of the year!  oh i have plenty of plans for other photo books but they don't ever seem to get finished for some reason...

so here is our week 6 picture.  i LOVE it.  i wasn't sure how it was going to turn out this week.  only miles seemed excited to participate at first.  ethan came around when i mentioned a treat.  mollie was not in the happiest mood, but she pulled through.  i think my favorite part is how well you can see the personalities of the boys in this picture.  ethan is calm and doing just as i asked (stay still until the camera stops beeping and look at the camera, please...please) and miles is so miles.  he is my crazy, wild guy and i think you can really see that here.
