our 4th of july

though our weekend began kind of slowly due to some sickness, LOTS of tiredness (thanks to a certain 4-week old) and bad weather, we were able to make it out to the lake to celebrate on sunday. we took the houseboat out and spent our first night on the lake instead of at the dock.

we woke to this beautiful view on monday morning.


lance did a perfect job sailing the boat and parking it back in the slip even on an especially windy day.
