mollie in cloth

she's now in cloth for most of the day (at least when i can keep up with the laundry). i held off at first mainly because i was too busy trying to figure things out to deal with the cloth, but now that we're settled, we've made the move. she still wear disposables at night, that has just always worked better for us and makes for less diaper changes at night too.

i reused everything from when miles was a newborn since i had a pretty good collection set up. i did purchase a few new covers that were girly since most of miles' covers were pretty boy oriented. and the perfect pink cover she is wearing above was a gift from my friend. she borrowed miles' newborn diapers for her baby and sent me a thirsties cover (since they're my favorite!) as a thank you gift. so very sweet.

i also bought a few items from gdiapers, though i have yet to try to flushable inserts. i bought 3 covers, including this adorable one, and am just using them with my prefold cloth diapers instead of buying the cloth inserts they sell. the preemie size prefolds work the best, but you can do the infant ones, they are just a little bit more bulky.

as a little comparison here is miles at 4 weeks in his cloth. i never thought that mollie looked like him, but seeing this pictures makes me think they looked a lot more alike than i thought.
